Michael Wavves’ ascension has been of the ‘long-game’ design.  The Pennsylvania based artist first emerged in 2015, releasing singles and music videos online while being a middle school teacher in his hometown of Lebanon, Pennsylvania.  Influenced by contemporary Hip-Hop artists including Kanye West, Drake, Lil Wayne, and Kid Cudi, along with vocalists like Post Malone, The Weeknd, and Mike Posner; Wavves bends genres to create a smooth blend of alternative POP music and melody-oriented Hip-Hop fused with moody guitar driven instrumentation.

This combination of styles is accented by an energetic and inspirational live show, which Wavves began building through grassroots touring after the release of his debut EP Nights on Vine in 2018.  In 2019, he returned with the EP Purple Heart, which debuted at #12 on the iTunes charts.
